Two arrogant people either collide like a matter-antimatter pair or can entwine in a Binary star like pattern. Never on a parallel path.

Note: No relation to squirrels (quite opposite, in fact), just a generalization. An epiphany.

My Left hand hurts on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 9. A sudden, sharp, pinpoint pain that is affecting everything today, including my mood. Perhaps I slept on it wrong. I have to be careful to warn people and things I care about that I am more cranky than usual. To the sarcastic bunch out there who can make a number of jokes on the preceding statement, the middle finger of the right hand is extended premeptively in your honor.

As for all activities, this surely affects my driving and makes me unfun to be around. I'll take this day in solistice and toss it to the trash can. If it repeats tomorrow, I'll let loose true wrath.

You all have been warned about the injured animal.

The mind going 60 MPH but the gear stuck in neutral.

I went out tonight. ;)

I forgot all about this in my pocket:

At first a rose I thought,
One you can get from the store.
A carnation maybe...
The tried and true: a romantic bore.

Simple jewelry, yes?
a silver trinket for the hand?
Not rich are you.
Silver is just quite bland.

Perhaps a hat then?
Of that she seems fond.
Not a stylist you are, nor her size
Fallacy, while trying to bond.

A card I shall write,
all fancy and cute.
Even toss in a picture of my dog Neut
The cheap laugh is what you pay for.
The card remains an unfinished chore.

Poetry it is then
An offhanded attempt to stimulate the mind
Injection of the soul
and other Sexual Sports.

While not exercised in a decade
A Clean Secret comes
and a small parch of paper
is what I offer.

I'll have to deliver it tomorrow.

Tomorrow will hopefully be a repeat with some extra planning. We act like old friends who know each other well but know nothing about each other at all.
Maybe even skip sexual tension and give it a straight relief. Split minds controling different mechanisms awry. Dinner, Movie, The Passion? Artificial if planned or just not awkward. We'll just leave it in the schedule and see what comes.

Time to work on mtwos web tomorrow. Work, fun, play. Set, match...

I like it when things go like clockwork.

I was 3 days early.

Asian food lesson thats I have passed many times verbally but never in written:

Rule 1: Do not eat chinese food made with seafood. Crab legs, shrimp, clams, oysters etc.

Exception: Crab Rangoon. Yum.

Lesson learned again: Some Jewel-bought ham and shrimp eggrolls knocked my system out for the whole day. Things came back under control around 8 PM. Food poisoning sucks.

Chaos!

Somewhere in the Real world there was Chaos. A place I got a haircut from failed to staff properly for the after school rush. Oops. The new assistant manager there who cut my hair received some how not to get walked on pointers from me. Poor girl couldn't call anyone in.

Somewhere in the MG2 world there was more Chaos. Brandon and Kriss fighting over tracks. Over 10 characters of code. Amazing. Log at http://words.mg2.org

Somewhere in the Gemstone world there was Chaos. A fight between Devishal and Soffia vs. Vaalor. The saga continues again. Same souls but different characters.

I wandered into my favorite cheap bookstore and found for Gemstone people would be a rareity. A book from the ICE Age. Already someone wants to buy the copy I have.

I need to get hold of the Squirrel and see what we are doing this weekend.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

I have a new job and a date this weekend. Granted, it's not a full time job or a wife, but we don't walk when we are born either. I suppose I should say goodbye now, since this much good news in one day means something truly evil will happen tomorrow.

I also voted today. Did you? Happily, Illinois no longer requires you to declare a party. You can vote Democrat in one election and Republican the next.

If you thought the French were cowards, Meet Spain.

I'll abandon my mg2bot modifications for now. If an object is passed to another module and the other module doesn't inheirt from that original object, the passed object looses its references. If you understand that sentence, apply for a job with Larry Wall.

Now on to Politics:

Spain gets bombed, many dead. Elections go on as planned, causing upset. New prime minister vows to withdraw his 1,500 troops unless his conditions are met. *whistle*

It is a pretty sad day and a highly dangerous precedent is set when terrorists can alter a democratic election. It's even sader when the first of a new prime minister is to reverse a foreign policy decision based on terrorism. This leaves the smaller parts of the "coalition" in great danger: Bulgaria, Poland, Australia, Japan...etc. European countries love to forget World War syndrome: Give an inch, they'll go away. Didn't work in WWII and won't work on the urban battlefield either. I won't even comment on the war itself, thats to hot of a topic for here.

From the World View to the Nation:

Tomorrow is the Illinois Primary and I'll be casting a ballot. In the last election, Gore was planning on shipping 100,000 people in from India to fill tech job needs. That made him a bad choice. Bush just ended shipped the jobs out, never to return. Who made him president? Fast forward to this election: Bush wants the campaign to be about the War on Terror(tm). Kerry wants it to be about the Economy and Jobs. I think this one is way to easy. Millions of americans and the "technical class" are watching jobs just drain out of the country. Add insult to injury is people ar ebeing asked to train their foreign replacements. So that leaves one choice at the ballot box tomorrow: Edwards! Surprise! har har.

The War on Terror will run itself, with or without bush at the helm. Hell, it might be even better under Kerry since he won't send troops to finish his father's messes.

All Politics are Local:

The senate race is pretty hot tomorrow and I already have a candidate in mind. Who he is is irrelevant till November. What I would like to discuss is who I won't be voting for and why: Blair Hull and Dairy Cow Oberweis. Both these candidates love to talk about bringing seniors up to Canada or buying drugs from Canada and how we should make it legal. I think these guys have it all wrong.

Legalizing Canadain prescriptions is just saying lets outsource our pharmacies to Canada. Great Idea guys! The Senator I want to send to Washington has to have Balls(tm) to stand up to Drug companies and impose price controls. Drug companies are not exactly hurting for money. 50% of profits come from United States and we are the only country not to have any price controls. Importing drugs from Canada is just a bandaid on broken American Policy. This one needs stitches.

This can be further expanded to "I think its wrong to profit from other peoples suffering." I can save that for another day. On a side note my family and I all get as many drugs prescriptions from canada as we can.

I finished Permanence today. 470 pages. More story than technobabble which is unusual in this shove crap down your throat age.

Strattera effects are declining. This freezing feet/hot head thing is driving me nuts. I'm scared to go up to 80mg. I cut my paxil pills in half to 10mg.

Also, I popped into Gemstone 4 today. Divine Wrath looks to be very interesting.

Tossing and Turning.

I forced myself to sleep last night in a sort of forced phase shift. I haven't been eating well and had some pancakes at 3 AM. The poor dog was up half the night with me and kept giving me these annoyed looks when I switched positions. My feet are still really cold and my head is still hot. I'll have to see if chills are a side effect of the drug.

I went into the tub and started reading a new book: Permeance, a sci-fi novel. While reading I reached to scratch an itch on my back and a pacth of skin came off. Nothing to be alarmed at, but it was scary at the time. Either it was from me reading a 100 pages in the tub or a side effect of Stratera. After rubbing my back
vigorously, a lot of rolled up skin was in the towel which made me throw it in the hamper. The skin underneath is smooth.

This would be a neat side effect if besides making your head clear, it made your skin clear too. Even at 24 I still get light acne. Maybe it's a wonder drug or maybe it's turning me into a freak like spiderman. Maybe I'll molt into a butterfly.

Coffee this morning was caffinated for once. After the bath I wasn't really hungry but forced myself to eat some toast since I hadn't eaten much over the last 3 days. Now I have a curled sleeping dog in my lap who I think I'll join in resting for a bit.

Headache for Cupid.

Hopefully the drug effects are starting to settle down. I have a headache and I'm not sure if it's from the medicine or if I'm just slightly sick. Could be either. Being in this state means I am getting nothing done that I want to.

On a seperate note, I followed jeek to okcupid.com for a silly test. Turns out its a free dating site. No harm in that since I'm single. As a big cheat, I put a picture on of me and the dog.

Sweating and Freezing

The new medication has some interesting sideeffects. One I won't mention. The other is that it's possible for me to have freezing hands and feet and be sweating out my head and chest. This makes for some very uncomfortable sleeping.

I downloaded MG2bot today and was abel to get it running on the linux box after setting the boxes hostname. Strange stuff happened, but I got it working. I'll set it up to use classes tomorrow.
